Job Overview:
DIC Pakistan is actively seeking a Manager R&D who will lead new product development and research projects focusing on green chemistry and sustainable innovations. The ideal candidate will possess strong industrial research experience in polymers, coatings, or adhesives, and demonstrate excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead new development and futuristic research projects, especially focused on green and sustainable chemistry.

Collaborate with the Commercial team to identify potential market opportunities.

Conduct market surveys, competitor benchmarking, and assess commercial feasibility with the Market Strategy group.

Coordinate with Production and Customer Support teams for product trials and validation.

Drive product launches by analyzing requirements, developing concepts, and conducting ROI analyses.
Required Qualifications & Skills:

M.Sc./M.Phil. in Chemistry (Pure, Organic, or Polymer Chemistry). Ph.D. is preferred.

12+ years of industrial research experience (excluding academic research), including 5+ years in polymers, surface coatings (functional or conventional), or adhesives.

Strong research, analytical, and leadership capabilities.

Ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders effectively.
