About the Role:
Sky Electric Pvt Ltd is hiring a Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer who is detail-oriented and analytical. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, debugging software, identifying corrective actions, and ensuring overall product quality through manual and automated testing processes.
Key Responsibilities:

Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback

Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases

Execute manual and automated test cases and analyze results
-
Identify, document, and thoroughly track bugs and issues
-
Perform regression testing when defects are resolved

Develop and maintain testing processes for both new and existing products

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Experience (internship or full-time) as a QA Engineer, Software Tester, or related role

Familiarity with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG)

Good understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes

Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases

Experience with both white-box and black-box testing

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred (Nice to Have):

Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)

Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI)

ISTQB or other QA-related certifications
