Position: Manager – POS Merchant Onboarding & KYC Operations

OPay Inc is looking for a competent Manager to lead our POS Merchant Onboarding and KYC Operations team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in merchant onboarding, KYC compliance, and team management, along with excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities:

Merchant Onboarding: Develop and implement efficient onboarding processes for new POS merchants.

KYC Compliance: Oversee KYC operations to ensure full compliance with regulatory standards.

Team Leadership: Manage and guide the onboarding team, providing training, coaching, and support.

Process Improvement: Continuously review and enhance onboarding workflows for better efficiency and customer experience.

Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with merchant onboarding and compliance.

Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal teams, including business partners, to streamline onboarding and resolve issues.

Project Coordination: Work closely with partners on projects and daily operations.

Reporting & Analytics: Deliver regular reports and analytics on onboarding performance metrics.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, or a related field

Minimum 5 years of experience in banking, fintech, or a relevant field — with hands-on experience in merchant onboarding and KYC

At least 2 years of team management experience

Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
